What I’m doing in therapy seriously is helping me with my major issues with life and my main reasons why I’m suicidal. I’ve found out mostly it’s because I can‘t appreciate myself or my life as they are and have to twist them up into something I like. But what if I can actually like a few things in my current self and life and thrive on them? Let me show you a very easy “do-it-yourself” mindfulness exercise.

Since I’ve been doing it, not had any issue with my physical appearance or my body. It’s to list off by typing them out or noting them down on paper what you like and appreciate about your current body and life. Use different shades to write them down to remind yourself that life is multi-faceted. It truly does help those with a black and white thought process and have them with you everwhere you are so you can read them to yourself wherever you go in life. This is called “mindful self-appreciation”. Hope this serves you well with your struggles in life.
